Manchester House Social Services Society

Senior Hub

The Senior Hub has been active in the Feilding and Districts community since 2009 and supports several hundred older persons by offering a place of belonging, purpose and social connection.

We currently employ two staff and run a wide range of programmes that cater for the evolving physical, emotional and social needs of our many members.

We offer a wide variety of activities and opportunities including an exercise programme, computer literacy in collaboration with SeniorNet, Arts for Seniors classes, bingo, entertainment and the chance to connect with others.

The friendships I have made there are amazing, and a real reason for living. The love, laughter, and enjoyment there and the contact with others actually keeps me going

Shirley Roddick

There is a caring sharing atmosphere which is so important to our seniors along with programmes for our physical needs

Joy Luttrell

The people I have met…show so much love and concern for those that seek help with aliments and also companionship. Their smile, hugs, encouragement and even a hot cupa and snacks is so comforting
